Biography
Andrea Reyes was born in Eagle Pass, TX and raised in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Reyes is currently living in San Antonio, TX, as a contemporary abstract artist. She completed her degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015.
Reyes works primarily with acrylic and gouache. Being in the present time by acting spontaneously and instinctively with moments of innocence, experimentation, and discovery is what inspires Reyes to create textural compositions with the use of mixed media.
New American Paintings published Reyes work in 2017. She has taught art at private schools in San Antonio, Texas and in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Reyes has also had a solo show and various group shows in San Antonio.
