Working with Fabric and Embroidery with Sarah Fox

Join artist Sarah Fox to learn basic fabric binding and sewing techniques as well as several basic embroidery stitches.

As part of the workshop, you will learn the very basics of using a sewing machine and how to use alternative binding materials.

Students will leave with a small fabric wall hanging experiment, along with new skills.
*
Bring old fabrics, thread, buttons and other findings. If you have an iron or sewing machine (or both), bring those too!
