What If I Love You, the newest series produced by San Antonio artist and musician, Phillip Luna, juxtaposes watercolor florals with phrases from pop culture, commenting on the complexity of falling in love in our noisy, contemporary world. While visually distinct from the rest of Luna’s oeuvre, the theme of love ties it in with both his visual art and his music. Bouquets of flowers are ephemeral and delicate – just like love itself.

Phillip Luna has been creating music and art in San Antonio for over 25 years. He has been a music venue/bar owner, a skateboard/bike trixter, a radio personality, entertainer, father/husband/partner, guitar smasher, record producer, logo, poster artist silkscreener, jazz master hair flipper, and ultimately a singer of love songs. Phillip currently performs with The Please Help. He has played thousands of live shows as a member of Royal Punisher, Fear Snakeface, Shit City Dreamgirls, 1.0 and Worm.
