UNA VOZ DESATADA: Gallery Talk with Reyna Grande
We are excited to announce that award-winning Latina author Reyna Grande will speak at Bihl Haus Arts as part of our “UNA VOZ DESATADA” exhibition.
In her talk, titled “Mother Tongue: Healing from Language Trauma,” Reyna will speak on her own immigrant experiences and participate in a Q&A about the exhibition at 7 p.m Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Reyna is the author of four critically acclaimed books. Her latest, “A Dream Called Home,” (2018) is the sequel to her best-selling memoir, “The Distance Between Us” (2012). She is a winner of the American Book Award, the El Premio Aztlan Literary Award, and the International Latino Book Award.
