Threshing Whispers Opening Reception

The Department of Art and Art History is pleased to present Threshing Whispers, a commemorative alumni exhibition celebrating Trinity University’s 150th anniversary.

In honor of Trinity University’s sesquicentennial, the Department of Art and Art History will spotlight the work of three break-out artists in the exhibition Threshing Whispers. This exhibition features recent work by alumni Elizabeth Glaessner ’07, Preetika Rajgariah ’08, and Margaux Crump ’11. The assembled works confront themes addressing the feminine, otherness, and desire in visceral expressions. These artists exploit material, symbol, and myth through textural and vibrant works.

Opening reception between the hours of 5-7pm Thursday, February 21, 2019.

The exhibition will take place inThe Michael and Noemi Neidorff Gallery. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call 210-999-8871
