Studio Portrait Lighting Workshop

This class is geared towards studio artificial light, but everything learned here can be applied to any kind of lighting situations. You’ll have a full understanding of light and how to have full control of it. Outdoor we use the sun as light and in studio you are the sun. Strobe lighting can sometimes look intimidating but after this class you will no longer intimidated by any lighting situation. You will learn how to light portraits, glass and metal. There will be lighting equipment available that can either be rented or purchased from Camera Exchange. You are encouraged to bring your own camera, lighting equipment is not necessary to bring unless you wish you learn your own gear.

About The Instructor:
Michael Gonzalez, San Antonio native, is a professional photographer who specializes in studio portrait photography, he’s been in the industry for 8 plus years. Attended The Art Institute of San Antonio for Photography, has been published both locally and internationally and is also an award-winning photographer.
