Mini Art Museum Exhibition Opening Reception: 20/20

According to the American Optometric Association, “20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet…[and] does not necessarily mean you have perfect vision.” And as we experience the year 2020, Spare Parts’ MINI ART MUSEUM takes the opportunity for artists to immediately respond to concepts of the central and the periphery of our time. Peripheral vision occurs away from the center of gaze and in contrast could, in fact, be of greater importance. You are invited to its 2019-20 Exhibition opening reception on Friday, August 30 from 6-8pm at Carver Community Cultural Center’s Fifth Friday’s Music Mixer. Artists: David M. Alcantar, Elizabeth Camilletti, Joe De La Cruz, Joan Frederick, Tim Olson, Kristy Perez, Christopher Elliot Suniga, Connie White Swann and Guillermina Zabala. #weeart
