Lecture: What the Museum World Taught Me About Being Indigenous

Museums have contributed to countless misrepresentations and misunderstandings of Indigenous communities across America. Join us as guest lecturer, Jaclyn Roessel, takes us through the ways in which museums contribute to problematic hierarchies and beliefs by way of collecting, interpreting, and displaying Indigenous cultural belongings without consultation from Indigenous communities.
