ARTIST WORKSHOP WITH ANDREI RENTERIA

Fünf exhibiting artist, Andrei Renteria, will lead a free hands-on workshop titled Mensajes/Messages. Inspired by his work for Fünf, participants will learn drawing and painting technique to create panoramic work on postcards. Referencing arrangements of dried, pressed flowers & greenery, guests will use a variety of technical pens to layer linear strokes on postcards. Each flower will be treated with a distinctive mark, emphasizing the diversity within the group. The postcards will then be painted with watercolor paints to suggest the rhythm and energy of growing forms through a variety of shapes and marks.
